Dymnikov Alexander was born in 1961 in St. Petersburg. Member of the Union of Photo Artists of Russia since 2006. Since 2009 - Vice-President in January 2015, was elected Chairman of the St Petersburg Union of Photographers. In 1984 he graduated from the Physics Department of Leningrad State University and worked at Vavilov State Optical Institute researcher until 1992. He was engaged in fundamental problems of the glassy state structure. He has published several papers. From 1992 to 2015 he worked as a professional in real estate, was the director of the investment projects of real estate agency "Arcade". In the 1980s, fond of sports mountain tourism, has made more than 40 ski and mountain hiking. Groups with his participation twice won the championships of Leningrad in mountain tourism. It was made the first ascent of passes in the Pamirs and the Caucasus. Among Alexander routes - crossing the Himalayas on a bicycle, biking and trekking on polar Sweden, Norway and Iceland, canoe trips on Lake Ladoga and the White Sea, rock climbing in the Dolomites, trekking and climbing in Nepal, ski trek to the North Pole. He took part in several expeditions to search for traces of ancient civilizations technologies in Peru, Bolivia, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Turkey, Greece and Israel. In photography started at school in the early 1970s. In the mid-1980s, he attended the photo club at the Palace of Culture. Gorky. His mountain landscapes were exhibited in those years in the city and All-Union photo exhibitions. At the All-Union competition of tourist photographs of his works were awarded diplomas (1986- diploma of II degree, 1987 - Diploma of I degree - for best picture).
